Can H.pylori cause heartburn, indigestion and acid reflux? I had my EGD recently and waiting for biopsy results. I have never had reflux problems until 2 months ago. Can all of this be caused by H.pylori? Has anyone had the same situation?

I am struggling with indigestion and heartburn recently, never had stomach issues. I had an endoscopy, no h pylori. Have you started any meds?

yes NEXIUM for acid blocking and motiliun for stomach emptying

H.pylori is one of the major causes. You could also have heartburn if you have just a hernia or have taken doses of aspirin in recent time. If H.pylori is the cause as detected by tests, anti-biotics are prescribed to clear the guts as well as the introduction of some beneficial bacteria through yoghurt or some other food or drinks. I learnt there is yet another strain that could be from undisclosed causes. I hope you get help from your doctors.
