Hi, I was diagnosed with a neurological movement disorder called Cervical Dystonia in 2012. I began treatment for it however, I kept having chronic pain in my cervical  and thoracic spinal area along with the muscles in the area. I was then diagnosed with AS in 2017 and when I started treating the AS I noticed the flare ups from the dystonia were not as bad and I had less nerve and muscle pain. Now I am having more pain in different parts of my body and my rheumotologist doesn't have an answer. I feel the same way  you do. Are these linked together?

Hi! I haven't heard of Dystonia with immune link but couple of my diseases my Drs don't know why. AS can be passed by DNA and appears dystonia can also. There's a gene they can check see if passed to you. Like I have adrenal disease. Missing ACTH hormone. Had at birth. There are diseases that can cause dystonia or DNA. I'd want to know whether I had at birth or something caused it so that could be investigated. Take care
