Had a nasty cold recently, now feeling wiped out again

Is this the normal response after an illness? I remember having a cold last summer and it took me a long 3 weeks to recover, by I wasn't wiped out after. This time, I'm weak and exhausted even though the cold is gone.

    You have a long way to go before you come to any conclussions. Give yourself a chance and take it as easy as you can. I hope you recover soon

    The Tuesday before Easter I had a good day, the first one in 4 years. Nezt day I got a cold have been feeling really dreadful ever since.

    I just can not stand this illness and friends and family misunderstnding of it..

    I have had it 33 years and was hoping i would have got over it by now.
