Background to how I got a bad shoulder, we were having an extension put on, and I was on the ladder going into the new loft hatch when it gave way under me, landed on back, thought that was were I was going to suffer as Ihave had a bad back for years, no pain in shoulder for the first 2 days, then on our 30th anniversary 2 days after the fall was in agony, signed of work over the phone for 4 weeks without been seen by a doc, eventually seen a doc who told me to get private physio as there was none on nhs, after the three sessions managed to get some on nhs, but she would not do anything on 3rd visit saying if nothing had helped in the last 2 sessions nothing was going to. So in December the doc referred me to hospital so this is where I am, accident was on 6th September

Well I'm glad I read the background story so you dont have to worry that its cancer or something.  It might be that they are covering themselves after realizing that they should have treated you sooner for something.  Certainly you can call them tommorrow and ask what they found.  If they say you need to see them immediately they might tell you why.
