Had an STI a while ago, has my boyfriend caught it??

About a year ago, I had unprotected sex with 2 people (at different times) and I ended up contracting gonorrhea. I received treatment for it and was retested and all was well. During my treatment period I began seeing someone else and got fairly serious with him. However due to beibg unwell with flu and colds and other issues, we haven't actually had sex yet. We've been together for nearly 9 months now but he tends to keep getting cold sores. Is it possible that it's because of me having gonorrhea all those months ago?

The short answer is no. Once gonorrhoea is gone, it's gone, and you can't pass it on to someone even if you have sex with them. You can't infect someone with it without having sex with them anyway (and it's unusual for it to be transmitted by oral sex).
Cold sores are indeed a form of herpes, but it's not the same virus as genital herpes.
