had beef liver for diner- had more energy!

Just got back from a bike ride and my pulse was only 98. it was higher earlier, and i was not getting any real exercise.

Had beef liver 1st time in 20 years, before the ride. I was not planning a ride as i'm always too tired after dinner. This time i felt great! Cooked it in leftover corned beef fat, for flavor and some calories, ( 4oz liver is only 150 calories). Got the liver because it is high cholesterol and my LDL is too low (104)and want to bring it up to normal(123). The theory is that LDL is what gives you energy, and i get tired pretty easy. I'd like to see this happen again, but it sure looks promising!

Any liver stories out there?
