I had a cortisone shot Wednesday in my left shoulder. It hurt for two days, better today. But I realized my forearms on both arms arm hot. Is this common with cortisone shots? Rest of arms feel fine. Its just the forearms that are hot.

I had a sImIlar response to a cortIsone shot; In my case the heat and redness went away In a few days. I belIeve It was an Inflammatory response, but perhaps you should tell your MD. I'm not goIng to have any more of the same shots, personally.

Mine lasted about four days. At night I started putting aloe vera on it; it helped.

i just remembered; my reaction to the shot started with bright red (face) cheeks, which threw me off, until the arm turned hot and red. Steroids are peculiar and cause wierd reactions, i think. Hope it helps you in the long run.

After the shot pain went away and the burning went away the shot has helped a lot. Not sure if I would want another one though.

My shot didn't seem to do much after the initial slight increase in pain. I see the ortho-doctor tomorrow, but if he pulls out his needle I'm leaving.
