had my medication doubled

Had my medication dosage doubled at my first out patients appointment, from 2 tablets a day to 4 tablets that was 3 days ago, has this hapend to any one else and how were you feeling if you did, i have had bad headaches and earache a sore throat and am now also having to run to the loo, things started settling down at last, now i am not sure whats happening as i was told that by taking a double dose it would atack the inflamation quicker and help get back to almost normal ??? i am on mezavant.

    I'm on 4 a day, when I first went on them had headaches and bad throat, went away after a few days and I've suffered no side effects with them since
