Had retina tear repair in right eye but now left eye vision not clear.

I had a small retinal tear repaired in my right eye. As it was being done my left eye was open but looking up (as instructed)... but you are still looking at the laser being fired in your peripheral vision. Can your non lasered eye vision be affect in this way after laser ? It was about a 5-8 min procedure.

Im hoping it clears up by tomorrow or next day, but before the laser my left eye vision was extremely good and now its a bit fuzzy.

Update fwiw - my eye sight seems to have returned to normal. I think it was the lasered eye being affected - the muscles - so it affected how my brain was processing the new temporary view between 2 eyes. I think now, maybe, the lasered eye has settled down the eye sight returned to normal, or the brain adjusted to the new view and aligned things correctly.... can still feel lasered eye alittle - whether that inflammation i dont know. hopefully in the next week it settles down.
