    Hi Sandra,

I have the same problem and have had it for three or four months now. The pain has started to get a bit better the last couple of weeks. It has been at times unbearable with both feet hurting, around the sides of the feet and shooting pains in both big toes. I see the specialist on tuesday after MRI and Xray showed problems with two bulging discs. Hopefully he can get it sorted. Best of luck Graham

If you are UK based Sandra hassle your GP so that you are made more of a priority, otherwise there are long waiting times. I was told 32 weeks wait for MRI scan here in Cardiff until I complained and 26 weeks to see specilaist. Bloody disgraceful, so don't be quiet!

      All the best Graham

      Mate

NHS, is CRAP. Honestly, better to go private, health is everything!! If no health, you cant even earn money!! I am private from last 6 years!!

Agree with you mate, am paying to see the specialist and jump the queue which is wrong, but can't cope with the pain. However, I couldn't afford to pay for private health insurance as only working part time currently. The NHS is being privatised at the moment, bit by bitsad

I hate NHS!! Even private consultants take you for a ride!! U made a complaint of one Indian consultant just a week ago.

I saw the specialist a few ago, it's not a back problem for me it's a foot problem. I had more blood tests and these showed up a low level of vitamin B12 and one of the symptoms of this is the tingling, numbness and pain in your feet and in particular big toe. It may well be worthwhile asking for a blood test for this just to rule that out. I have had an injection and feel slightly better and now wait to see a neurologist. Cheers Graham
