My dog was my best friend, we did so much together. I told my dog all my secrets I knew she wouldn't say a thing.....what should I do?

Hi I have been there too and it's horrible isn't it! I had to put my last beloved cat to sleep a few years ago and for the first 4/5 days I was inconsolable and every time I looked in the mirror I saw a cat murderer. After this time the lovely messages others were giving me such as they had a good life with a good owner, they had a long life and were well loved and looked after started taking hold and being comforting.
Your dog knew how much you loved her and she enjoyed her life with you. She will always be with you in spirit and I firmly believe in Rainbow Bridge. Take care sweetheart. x

Yeah it very hard, the worse part is I can't see my best friend no more, I just have to cherish the memories.

Hi Jayla - I'm so sorry to read of your situation. Pets are so important, giving us unconditional love and not giving a damn about what we might have done, what we look like, or what anyone else says. You are so lucky to have had that time with your recently departed friend. Life will trundle on and gradually the pain will ease. Soon all you will have are all the wonderful memories of the time you spent together, helping each other through life. Your pet has simply gone home and is waiting until you get there.
