Had unnecessary hemorrhoidectomy last year and still have issues.

I had an unneeded hemorrhoidectomy for hemorrhoids which were not bothering me and subsequent to the surgery I have developed a lot of issues I never had before. The surgeon who performed the procedure has been inattentive to my complaints, acting as if I was bothering him. The pain was worse than that of a natural childbirth, through which I have gone twice. It felt as if the doctor had used a broken glass bottle to perform the surgery. I had to forego pain medication because I'm allergic to opioids which is on my records, but that was all they would prescribe. I was bedridden for over a year since the procedure in June 2020. I feel terrified at the thought of returning to that same doctor.
At the same time that I had the hemorrhoid surgery I also had an upper endoscopy with 3 biopsies, and a colonoscopy and polypectomy, along with the internal hemorrhoidectomy and a small external hemorrhoid, the last one being the only thing I was expecting to have removed.
Last week I went to another doctor and he found a polyp left outside. The anal area is still sore, it becomes irritated, a lot of skin was left down there and I feel it looks hideous.
I became so bloated right after surgery that I gained 50 lbs of bloat in 2 weeks, with my legs becoming swollen also. And when the bloating went down somewhat in September, my lower legs became deformed overnight, literally. My legs developed dimples and painful bumps that I never had before. The bloating keeps on returning off and on.
I have been very conscious as to following a healthy, well balanced diet all my life. I am having a lot of trouble with my legs and knees, as well as pain to the area above the upper left side of my stomach, behind my ribs. I had never had that pain until after the surgery; it was very sharp and painful when I first got home after the hemorrhoidectomy and it has never gone away altogether. The new doctor has ordered a cat scan of that area.
Also, after the upper endoscopy I began to get some serious coughing fits which I never got before. And my blood sugar and pressure, as well as my potassium and thyroid test results became very erratic.
It's much more than what I describe here but I'm sure you get the idea.
I'm very concerned about the aspect of my legs, my stomach, and my anus. I came out of that surgery worse off than when I went in.
I'm not sure whether I should be looking for new doctors or for a lawyer.
ANY SUGGESTIONS?

I became bloated right after surgery, gaining FIFTY pounds of bloat in my stomach and legs in a matter of 2 weeks. And when the bloating went down my lower legs were left quite deformed. This happened overnight, LITERALLY. My legs developed dimples and painful bumps that I had never had before and they are not going away.
The bloating keeps on returning off and on and IT IS NOT MY DIET.

Also after the procedures I began to get some serious coughing fits which I never got before either. And my blood sugar and pressure, as well as my potassium and thyroid test results became very erratic when they had always been normal.

I'm very concerned about all these issues and my mental health is being affected as no one seems to have an answer.
