Haemarrhoidectomy

I've been suffering from an external haemarrhoid for the past one week, have been posted for surgery in the weekend, how awful/painful is the post op care? and how painful is the surgery?

conservative treatment has not helped much

will there be problems while defecation?

I'm just 21 and too young for this operation and i have my exams comes up which has been stressing me out more, will i be able to study by 2 weeks?

    about 1 week but make sure you use alot of ice down there ok it helps alot, but when you start itching youll know and thata a good feeling but make sure your stool is very soft ok. i mean it make sure its soft ok. eat alot of fiber ok. i was doing pretty good after 1 week. after 3 weeks even better but keep walking ok that is a must .i was great after 1 month . that was 2 years ago today supersuper super and i still do fiber water also what is good also is miralaxi take it everyday too keep stopol softi,m doing very well travis holt was my doctor o s f bloomington ill. my surgry lasted like 20 minutesthat was it keep me posted ok. i had too joke with him afteri said am i pain in the butt now he laugh

      what procedure did you do? not my experience at all. sounds like you had it easy! that's great!

    depends on which procedure. if u ate being cut then no. 5 to 7 weeks and healing was rough. however there are many less invasive procedures that aren't as bad. did your doctor specify which?

    What kind of surgery? Removing? Hal doppler?
