haemochromatosis & BHRT- compatibility? Relief for neck pain?

Hi, does anyone have any understanding of Bio Identical HRT and whether it is safe to use when you have HH?  Would it help with neck joint pain?  I can't have normal HRT because of migraine.

If you are in maintenance and are consistently on top of your venesections, I wouldn't think it's unsafe.

As to whether HRT helps with neck pain, you need to speak with your Primary Care Physician or Endocrinologist.

You may want to pose this question on the HH Facebook page.

Well, I have been happily using it for 25 years.  But oestradiol oestrogen is called Bio Identical but it is not virtually made from plants or anything such.  They find the chemistry from the plants that do the job, then replicate it chemically.  Otherwise it would be impossible to apply, and you would need a mountain of those particular plants to get the appropriate amount.

Not very technically/professionally described, I know, but without going to the trouble of finding a web page to describe it to you, that is what you get.

The neck problem is much more complex and would need a professional neck person to address that, as it depends on the cause.  It may be your pillow, or the way you sit, wear and tear, etc.  Have you tried acupuncture?
