had Haemorrhoid banding done two weeks today and my symptoms have got worse.
before i was getting intense itching and a feeling of something there after i go empty my bowels.
now the feeling of intense itching and the feeling of something there its constant and no trigger. is this normal or does it sound like a a failed haemorrhoid banding procedure?

Same for me. I had a lot of pain and discomfort starting around day 12 but it subsided after 4 days. Nurse said it was likely due to haemorrhoid falling off which leaves a raw spot that can swell and irritate the remaining rhoids. Second banding should be easier. I see doc again on Monday.Obviously the healing process isn't as smooth for everybody as they make it out to be.
