Hair loss

Posted , 7 users are following.

Here I go again  my hair has started to fall out again. This happened to me about 6 months ago but stopped. I was lucky I did have very thick hair but know it's just about right. It fell out equally and not in patches luckily.

Has anyone else had or has this problem. Please help :!: Things are harder enough to keep going the way we are all feeling. But I find if we look good on the outside it helps us keep going on the inside.

Just like to say sorry to you all been short and blunt over the past week, but I feel dreadful at the moment.

    Hi Lou Lou, smile

Sorry to hear about your hair. I haven't experienced that, I have naturally curly hair and it never sees a brush so when i wash it (once a week :yuk: ) it comes out in lumps but it never looks any thinner, thankfully.

Have you discussed with your G.P or even hairdresser :?:

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well, don't worry if your posts are short, when i feel rotten i don't tend to post.

Well I have noticed hair loss, but not from my head  I have lost about 50% of my pubic hair  I wish my underarm hair or leg hair would follow its example, then I wouldn't have to bother with the razor.

I also have underactive thyroid and I know for a fact that this can cause hair loss if it is not controlled. Have you had a thyroid function test?

Alicia, Far too much information!!

LouLou, Thats what the forum is for, to rant and rave and get things out of your system  You are right about feeling better if you look well. One lady who hires a scooter from us has severe ME and she always looks immaculate even though she can hardly put one foot in front of the other sometimes

I dont have this problem. I am lucky enough to have good thick hair  Apart from thyroid there are other medical conditions that cause hair loss so it might be an idea to see your Doc

Hope things improve for you

As for me I also suffer from hair loss too. My hair is long but I have noticed a large amount of my hair has fallen out but not in clumps.

    Hi LouLou

I had hair lose last year, i had skin peeling with clumps of hair, so went to the docs and he gave me some special shampo and cream, it soon cleared up and grew back, but he did say it was because i was on a high dose of steriods last year,
