hair loss

Has anyone with MS experienced hair loss and what might help? This started one year ago.

    I have had MS for 24 years and never experiencedd hair loss. What medication are you on?

      It started be for medication I would have muscel spasam that would go up my scalp I didn't feel this till my hair started to thin, then my scalp would burn and I was told to use dandruff shampoo and it didn't help the burn.

    I think that meds might be the culprit, too. I would read through the information leaflet that comes with any/all meds you take, looking at the 'possible side effects' part.

    I would also suggest you post on the UK MS society boards, as you'll get a lot more people's feedback. It could well be, that others might have experienced it. Maybe muscle spasm reduces blood supply to the scalp (?!)
