Hair loss/regrowth, scalp spots.

Hi everyone!

I've been on sertraline for about 6 months. Started on 50mg everything fine, mild side affects but nothing major. Went up to 100mg and noticed I was losing more hair that usual everyday. I wasn't getting bald patches it was just general hair loss. Just a case of losing more hair than usual in the normal hair loss cycles that we all naturally go through. Thankfully this has subsided and the hair is grown back as normal......but..... I have spots on my scalp and my scalp is generally sore. I've never suffered with it before, haven't changed hair products and can only only connect it to when the hair started to fall out and regrow. Has anyone else experienced it??? Got any advice on how to ease the scalp discomfort. I've started using a medicated shampoo but yet to see results, it's only been a couple of days.

Any advice would be appreciated.
