Hairloss with hh

I've started noticing more of my hair coming out from my head. I run my fingers through it and lots comes out. Anyone else noticed hairloss with hh?

    Yes, I have hair loss on my legs (between ankle and knee).  I've only just been diagnosed but, looking back on it, I started developing this symptom in my mid-20s (37 now).  I also have male pattern baldness, but not sure I can blame HH for that :-/

    Yes, I had a lot and male pattern loss before I was diagnosed with HH.  I was found to be high in androgens so an anti-androgen medication was prescribed and I am still taking it years later.

    I did notice loss of hair on legs and under arms, and that is a bonus.

    HH is a hormone thief, so have your hormones checked to see if you need a correction/supplement.  Insufficient hormones can cause hair loss, as well as thyroid problems.

    After lots of searching, I discovered that Nizoral 2% helps regrowth.  Shampoo with a good shampoo or hair creme cleanser first, then again with the Nizoral 2% leaving on for about 5 minutes, then rinse.  Do not use a conditioner unless it is something you can put on your hair without rinsing.  The scalp must be kept clean of all other products.

    If you have ultra short hair you might not need the first shampoo.  I just like to have a clean scalp to apply the Nizoral 2% on.

    It took a long time, but my male pattern loss grew back, and the top of my head is now thick.  I am still losing lots of hair but it is being replaced.
