****I have gilberts syndrome and suffer from tiredness, dizziness and digestive problems. My most stressing symptom by far is halitosis. i have been assured by my dentist that my oral health is excellent and my mouth is kept clean. I have tried sugar free gum. drinking water etc. i have acid reflux and my gp thinks this may be the cause but i don't seem to be able to get rid of it.To make it worse i have done so many tests reffered by doctor but none of them has been able to diagnose the real cause and now they are starting to say some problem cannot be identified but how can i live with this??My confident level has gone so down because of this.please let me know what should i be doing?

hello. I realize this is an older post but thought I'd reply anyway.

Tonsil stones are not well known. Most dentists and doctors are not aware of what they are either!! My daughter had constant recurrent halitosis and by chance she coughed up one of the little stones. She was in her early 20's and was afraid she coughed out something from her lung. Upon inspection of the little stone she quickly noticed the horrid smell of the little bugger. She did some research and found out about these tonsil stones. She used a flash light and a crochet hook and found she had lots more hiding in the small holes of her tonsils. She dug them out and the rancid smell to her breath went away!! She regularly checks her tonsils and keeps removing stones. She started gargling with peroxide and water which helps prevent them forming for the most part. She no longer has breath issues. Google it and you may find your answer.
