Hand didn't heal after being in a cast for a month

I'm 19 and I fractured my pinky's metacarpal on January 23rd and I got my cast removed today (March 1st) and when I got my cast removed and my hand was x-rayed, the bone didn't mend or heal at all and when my doctor pressed on it, it didn't really hurt. It only really hurt from me trying to move my hand and work on the stiffness and my doctors thought I was doing pretty good so she just put me in a brace and buddy taped my fingers. What are some reasons for it not healing correctly and what can I do to get my bone to mend together?

    Hi give it time and make sure your diets good and maybe ask to have your calcium and vit D levels checked also exercises with maybe soft stress ball 4 weeks is not bad I'm 8 months and zero healing
