Hand pain that started this week

So earlier this week, i was banging on a table trying to get the non existent spider to fall to the ground (showing my niece there was no spider). Suddenly top part of my Palm (almost between fore finger and middle finger) got a bruise. Tender to touch but wasnt too bad. Today i have no idea what i did but now the top left of my Palm HURTS and almost looks bruised (happened not even 15 minutes ago) but its a dull pain just on its own without pressure. Why is my hand flipping out like it is now? Ive never had this happen. No new medication, lack of vitamins? Thats the only thing I can come with. Help!?!
