Hand Tremor - Anxiety! Any Success Stories and Suggestions

Hi All,

I wanted to reach out as feel at my wits end at the moment so would love to hear some positive stories of those who have overcome this to help me with my journey.

Basically I'm 32 and for around the last three years have gradually developed (and more recently had got worse) a hand tremor.

Having been to the doctors to confirm this isn't a physical condition, I know now that it is caused from Anxiety.

It is mainly focused and a problem when picking up glasses... I go to grab and it just shakes and now I have developed a fear of even going out and trying to drink out of a wine/beer/glass.

I have had 9 sessions of CBT and while this has helped mildly the problem is still very much an every day issue and problem.

The CBT is due to end, and I am considering continuing it privately as don't feel the issue has resolved.

But I just wanted to hear if anyone else has also suffered with this and how they overcame it?

Thanks in advance for your support.

Best

This happen to me when i have to do something in front of people. it sucks so bad. i find that taking a low dosage of xanax helps. also focusing on the objective of what I'm doing not necessarily individual tasks. best of luck.
