Hanging thing at the back of my mouth

Had it for a while and every so often it gets very sore and swollen, but woke up today and it was bleeding. Anybody have an idea of what it is and do I need to see the doctors about it?

    I have never seen anything like this before.  I really think you should get it checked out with your doctor or dentist.  Take care and keep in touch.

    Just Ann update, went to the doctors and been prescribed antibiotics. Also had a referral to see ENT docs at hospital.

    Really pleased you have been to the doctors and got an ENT referral. I hope the antibiotics help. Try not to worry and have a great CHRISTMAS.
