Well simple post, just wanted to wish all hippies and hippies to be, a Happy Christmas and all the best to one and all.
I know some have had it tough and others ok, for me i'm still waiting to see specialist early next year. Hope everyone has a good Xmas and fingers crossed a pain free few days would be nice.
Enjoy and stay safe🎅

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all hippies old and new and waiting.
I hope you all find a fulfilment in your lives afterwards as I have done.
I have done more in the last 2.5 years than I did in the previous 10, and I'm LOVING it.!!!! Good luck to one and all. xxx

ive had some very sound advice from several of you lovely people over the past several months as I’ve gone through one hip replacement after another, the latest on December 11.
im recovering ok at the present, getting staples out next Friday and will begin physio after the holidays
im controlling pain by taking Percocet every four hours and find by keeping on a regular basis the pain is quite controlled. I intend to gradually cut down the doses over the next couple of weeks until I’m off pain pills entirely
im doing gentle exercises at least three times a day, walking without any limp with a walker
im glad I’m no longer experiencing that horrible grinding pain and encourage anyone contemplating this surgery to do it as you will not regret it
many of you are still having a hard time recovering and I wish you out of pain as soon as possible
i live alone and I’m almost 79 years old . I’ve been fortunate enough to have my granddaughter help me by driving me to appointments, doing grocery shopping, etc. She is my rock.
again I wish you all a happy Christmas and a healthy 2018 and give my thanks to everyone who have taken the time to respond to my questions over the past several months.
