Hard Bony Lump on the side of My Knee

On Tuesday I was jumping around on my knees with the dog on concrete but when I went to the gym to do my leg workout I noticed a bit of pain in my left knee. When I got home I realised I had a small bony lump on the side of my knee that was a little bit swollen. The lump is a little bit painful and tender. I have used frozen peas and that reduced the swelling but not the lump. I have attached a photo so you can see what it looks like. Does anyone know what this could be?
