Hard bump on her back

My wife has had this hard bump on her back for a few months. She's uninsured and doesn't have a pcp. We'd like to know if it's potentially cancerous before she goes that route. It's raised about .5mm, it's about 1mm diameter and feels like a large piece of sand. Definitely not a black head.

    It doesnt look cancerous.

Watch out for itching, crusting, weeping, and spreading with an uneven outline. They are the danger signals that need a dermatologist.

It can be helpful to photograph the spot and then photograph about 6 months later and a year later to see if there are any changes.
