Hey,

I have recently notice a hard lump under my pubic hair. It doesn't seem to have any heads on it and is skin coloured. It seems to go quite deep under the skin too and doesn't move at all. It doesn't hurt at all unless I do anything to it like squeeze. I'm only 15 and have never been in any sexual relations. I would really like to know if this is anything to worry about or if it's just an ingrown hair, cyst or something.

Thanks for the help

There's nothing to worry about. It could be an ingrown hair, risen, blister, or anything M that's not a curse for alarm, you're fine!

It sounds like what I have. I have a cyst that is in my groin. It is deep under the skin however mine is some what mobile. I am having it removed this Friday, not looking forward to it. If it is a cyst it can become infected. The doctor told me never squeeze it or mess with it as it can rupture sending infected material into neighboring areas. So don't play with it at all. See a doctor if it doesn't go away soon. It isn't painful to have it removed as they will numb the area.

I can tell you it is painful after they remove the cyst. I am hurting now. But at least it is gone.

Sounds like an ingrown hair, if it gets painful and doesnt go away soon go to the doctor. I had to get a doctor to cut open and pull out an ingrown hair for me because it got infected. Don't worry too much, just keep an eye on it.
