Hard white skin at the top of foreskin. Itch and irritation. What is this?

Hi everyone,
I have recently had a very mild irritated penis that would go red when washing it in the shower.
Just now I have realised that my foreskin is turning white and hard and feels very tight when attempting to pull back my foreskin.
What is this? Is it an STD?
Note: I am not sexually active and clean my penis daily with warm water.

Hi it looks like you have a tight phimotic ring. are you able to fully retract you foreskin? I think you should have it checked with your doctor as it dose look like lichen sclerosus or BXO and will need treatment you should be referred to a dermatologist or urologist for diagnosis.

Thanks for your reply.
Yes, I can retract my foreskin but it is a little bit tight when doing so.
It does sort of sting and feels itchy at times.
Does it look like it's early stages?

That's good you can still retract the foreskin. How long have you had it for? You do have some scarring there it cab be difficult to reverse once it starts you might find it tears easily and you develop some little cuts.
it may not be LS maybe a fungal infection so you need to have it checked and diagnosed properly.
do you have any discoloration on the inner foreskin, glans or frenulum? if not it would be in the early stages.

Hi mate, thanks for your reply and help, I really appreciate it.
I only noticed it a couple of days ago to be honest, but I do remember that before I got the white skin, it was quite red and irritated especially when washing the skin under the foreskin in the shower. That's gone now and it's just the white skin.
The only discolouration that is there is just what looks like dry white skin under the foreskin or might actually be the foreskin. There is no discolouration on the glans or frenulum.
Please see attached photo for what I believe may be under the foreskin. Thank you

Hi it's very hard to tell from a photo that's your inner foreskin in that photo. Dose it continue around the shaft? Or only in that area? it could be a fungal infection or yeast infection especially when you only notice it recently. But it still could be lichen sclerosus or lichen Planus so really you need to have it checked with your doctor if you haven't already? The sooner you get treatment the better Man. the discoloration around the phimotic ring does look like LS.

Looks like BXO. That was the first sign I had. Make sure you are not letting urine sit on it. BXO loves urine and many guys got it from that. Highly recommend pulling the foreskin back and letting it dry out to see if it looks flaky or like a plastic bag. BXO inflames the skin so it get leathery and is the main reason for acquired phimosis.
