Has anxiety ever made you feel like you're going to lose it?

My anxiety is so terrible these days. It'll get better for about a week maybe but then all of a sudden it comes rushing back. Lately, I've had this problem where I can't get repeating thoughts or songs out of my head. They literally make me feel like I'm going to lose it. I don't know what to do. I've had this happen before and it did go Away but this time is 10x worse.

I get the same, I think of something randomly, then I'll worry as to why I've thought about it, and I think I sub conciously keep thinking about it and then it spirals out of control.

I thought I was going to lose it for around 2 years, but I got passed it and so can you. There are going to be times when you are totally aware that everything is in your head - moments of clarity. Use these moments as a benchmark, and appreciate how special they are. That's how you can get on a positive path.

    All the best.

Thank you. I'm trying very hard to get better but sometimes the fight is very tiring and I want to give up. I'm at the point where I'm depressed. I have to push myself to do the things I once enjoyed. I barely respond to people. I contemplate getting up for college. It's all spiraling down.

Keep trying, it's not easy. I'm going through a relapse right now myself, and it's driving me crazy, but you can do it. It takes time, effort, and perseverence, but it's possible. Keep your head up and try to stay positive. I understand it's hard. If you need someone to talk to, feel free to write back on this thread or send me a private message. I really enjoy helping others and it helps me deal with my own struggles.

Anxiety fluxuates all the time.  It definitely becomes worse when we are stressed from work, relationships, with family or friends.  I am by no means a counselor or doctor seems like obsessive thinking.  I have anxiety and get "brain lock"  fixiated on songs in my head, think over and over about things bothering me.  Have you ever tried meditation or mindfulness?  Seeked counseling?

Sometimes it can get out of hand. Absolutely. Hate thise times. If theres someone who is kind enough to talk it through with you that does help as well. I find the bad ones usually have a reason attatched to them, whether an illness or a bad event. They have mediations to help you sleep on the net. Try working out everyday to get your body tired as well. Hayhouse radio has tons of talk shows that are enlightining,

i dont know if it can work for you but it lessen my anxiety attacks a bit.

im afraid of seeing a doctor about my anxiety because i dont want anyone of my family or friends to know im fighting battles with myself everyday about fear.

you cant control fear. it is my biggest enemy since i was little.

as you can see. every human has its own weakness, some are born poor, some are born with low IQ, some are born with not so great family and etc. that will make our lives difficult. and now we are born to SUFFER INSIDE because it is designed to keep us broken so we can know how to fix ourselves.

everybody face hell, just different devils and now... the same devil for all of us who tortured us the same pattern.

WE ARE UNSTOPPABLE PEOPLE. NOBODY CAN STOP US. WE ARE BORN LEGION AND FIERCE. WE ARE BORN TO STAND OUT APART FROM OTHERS WHO CANT THINK WHAT WE ALREADY KNOW. WE ARE WISE AND WE ARE GREAT TO KNOW DEATH IS COMING ... AND THAT MAKES US AFRAID FOR ALL OF THE PEOPLE WHO WE LOVED AND CAME IN OUR LIVES.

we are LEGENDS... and NO ONE CAN DESTROY US. because... it is WE WHO CAN.

we are the only one who can destroy ourself because others cant. WE WILL DIE. BUT BEFORE I DIE I WILL PROVE TO THOSE WHO DONT BELIEVE ME THAT I CAN. THAT I WILL BE A MILLIONAIRE AND I WILL LAUGH ALL THE PEOPLE WHO MISTREATED ME. THIS FRICK'N ANXIETY WILL NEVER EVER STOP ME BECAUSE I AM UNSTOPPABLE!!!

LONG LIVED TO THOSE WHO PARTICIPATE IN ANXIETY BATTLES THAT ARE MORE DANGEROUS THAN WORLD WAR TWO.

and after that. it can lessen. for me... i hope this helped.

just think about the things you dreamed of. and all the sacrifices people did for you.

    HI!

Hunny, I have all the symptoms you have, plus a bunch of other stuff like existential OCD, questioning reality, feeling weird, depersonalizing, intrusive thoughts and images, and brain chatter. What you're having is brain chatter, your mind is just having thought loops, like the songs stuck in your head, repeating words, or you could just be simply talking/having conversations in your head, which is really normal, your mind is just fatigued from anxiety. We all have mental chatter and thought loops, usually people without anxiety aren't aware of it and considers it normal, but us with anxiety, we're hypervigilant/hyperaware of our thoughts and everything around us since we're constantly looking for threats when there ism't. You're not crazy, you're just living in your head too much and are hyperaware of things, the fact that you're questioning your sanity indicates that you're very sane.

    Just anxiety (:

    Feel free to message me!

I get this, too. Playing something like sudoku or that flow app or anything requiring logical thinking helps me. Or watching a funny show or movie. Try finding something that'll distract you.
