Has any of you hippies had a minimally invasive THR by Mr Douglas Dunlop?

    I had minimally invasive THR by Mr Hugh Althorpe and my scar is very small with no staples etc and up and about very quickly

      Thanks I've heard of that surgeon, may I ask how long ago and how are you now, and apart from scar size are there any other advantages to minimally invasive ?

    15 days ago ! I was in hospital for 2 nights and so far I have not had any problems . The wound is about 4 inches sideways across cheek lol

    it has completely healed with minimal bruising

      mine is end of November,, is sideways across the cheek, like along the bikini line, do you have to follow the 90% rule wityh minimally invasive?

    Yes you won't see the scar with a bikini on lol

    do you mean 90 degrees ? If so then yes I am following those guidelines but I am on day 15 and now walking with one stick indoors and 2. Outdoors . 

    I am following the exercise routine he recommends and all seems to be going to plan .
