Has any one ever had Botox or fillers since being diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis?

I have asked my consultant and nurse they said it's still fine to have ? Was just seeing if anyone else has had treatment like this ?

I know people might think it's silly but it's me and I had these things done before I started in September !

Thanks peeps X

Hi Katie, I've never had Botox, but I'm sure your Rheumatologist could answer your question, I don't think it's silly, whatever you do to feel good! Hope it goes well, have a great day!

I find that I don't heal as fast.  My bruising takes longer to heal.  I use Sculptra as a filler and absolutely love it.  You should be able to do anything you want and be fine when it comes to cosmetics.

Rheumatoid arthritis affects the wrist and small joints of the hand, including the knuckles and the middle joints of the fingers, which can be very painful. So that’s why, I would like to suggest the Botox for this purpose, because it paralyzes our muscle for six months or more means you will not feel any pain, and meanwhile in that duration you can take its treatment.
