I'm so desperate now, here in Canada is not easy to see a doctor specialist, after a year of waiting he told me doesn't feel comfortable doing anything on my hip since he never saw a case like mine. I guess the
y are not very common.
I will keep you updated, hopefully this will resolve soon some how. Please keep me updated I would love to know how yours is evolving. Is hard to find someone that recognize this hip problem as a frozen hip or adhesive capsulitis.
All the best and fast recovery for you. Please keep me posted.
Thanks a lot for your response. I really appreciate it.

Just wondering how are you doinf with your hips? Did somebody diagnosed you with adhesive capsulitis "or "frozen hip? Did you have them both frozen at the same time. Did you go through all the stages of adhesive capsultis? why is taking you thal long.
I had frozen hip for over a year and I just had MUA manipulation under anestecia and my movement is much better. Wondering why didnt you try any therapy and waited this long 6 years???
Thanks a lot for all your info and I hope you are better now.
All the best

I'm in the US, too. I think we're in the same boat. I have been suffering from leg stiffness, weakness, numbness, etc for about five years. I've had P.T., pool therapy, accupuncture, facet joint injections, and seen a neurologist, rheumatologist, peripheral nerve surgeon, 2 spine surgeons, etc. They did every test under the sun and came up with idiopathic neuropathy. I got to where I had to stop working and move back home with my parent because I couldn't stand more than a minute or two and could barely walk.
Fast forward 10 months later and I can suddenly stand this week. I have been taking more vitamin D and B12 (I run low on both) and working my trigger points and using a Light Relief 90LR15LR01 Infrared Pain Relief Device with an extra large pad on my hips and back. This is available on Amazon and worth its weight in gold. I had never heard of frozen hips until I suddenly started unfreezing (I worked in healthcare 25 years!!) Now that I found the topic, my symptoms make more sense. I am slowly working on stretching and strengthening my legs. I feel like i'm on newborn Bambi legs, but the stiffness is suddenly gone.
I hope this helps. I lost my good insurance when I quit my job, and moved across the country, so I can't follow up with anyone. I would appreciate any and all input.

I want to be sure what the turning point was for you....was it the vitamins and the light relief....or just time.
I am doing PT 3 times a wk and it is getting worse. Any info you can give would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you, Martha

Check what a hip replacement would do for you, maybe is the way to go, consult with your doctor.
Wishing you all the best!!!hope you find the solution to your problem, took me 5 years to fix my problem.
Many blessings!!!

I was diagnosed with Frozen Hip 3 months after my arthroscopic hip surgery to repair my labrum. I had this surgery in November of 2019 and was diagnosed in February of 2020. I got sent to a new therapy place focusing on stretching and got a cortisone shot. Nothing helped. I am still in pain 2 years later. I definitely feel better than when I was first diagnosed, but the pain is still there everyday. Hard to sit longer than 20 minutes. Walking over a half mile is super painful. But running actually feels better than walking. I would describe my pain as super stiff, burning, and tight all down my leg. My knee is affected a lot as well. You can read my whole story I posted yesterday under this page. It's been a tough couple years.. and I'm getting sick of the chronic pain.
