Has anybody been successfully operated on regarding leg pain, that has been radiating from their L3 and L4 nerve roots.

Perhaps even other nerve roots would be applicable.

sounds like sciatica. oh boy it can ware ya down. unrelenting pain and no way to get comfortable. treat with heat gel packs for now and pain patches OTC drug stores can help with some relief. if time rest and exercising hasn't helped you might ask about a spinal epidural. it can give instant relief and help give you enough time to hopefully heal . i had sciatica for years and nothing helped .i tried it all.

I finally went to a back specialist and thru a surgery procedure was given a shot directly into the herniated disc. the fluid from the injection shrinks the jelly like substance that is leaking from the disc pressing on the sciatic nerve . its was a enzyme from a papaya plant . when I woke the pain was gone and haven't had it since. still have to take precautions and special care of my back having degenerate disc disease.

I'm not sure what type of surgery your talking about. can you share any more about the procedure you asked about?
