    Hi Kate,

if you go on to Gov.uk site and then look up personal indipendce payments, you can ask for a claim pack to be sent to you. I think you can even make initial claim online too but don't hold me to that. Always try to keep your worst day in mind when you fill it in as this is the day you will really need extra help and care.

    Good luck xx

    Hi Kate,

i just tried to send you info on how to apply for PIP and the moderators immediately removed it. I think it was because I gave you the exact web address. So instead just type in personal indipendace payment as a search and you should get the info you need. I'm almost certain you can apply online but you may prefer to have the whole info pack out.

Hope this helps. Good luck xx

Hi Kate. Yes I get pip. When you fill in the questionnaire you must answer the questions as for your worst possible day. It's all down to how you answer them. There are a couple of websites where you can get help in answering them. Turn to us, and benefits and work are good ones. Good luck. x

Thankyou for replying Jeanne. Do I need to go to my doctor for a letter x

No Kate you don't need a letter from your doc, although there is a place on the form for you to give names of any medical professionals who they can ask for information about your condition., e.g, your GP, Rheumatologist etc. x

In the US we have social security , I have heard it is near impossible. Most of the time even with an attorney filing you will get turned down the first 3 times.
