Has anyone always been bow legged?

I have severe osteo arthritis, and have had one total knee replacement and my leg straightened. I am due to have the other leg/knee done soon. I am 51 and I wonder if any of this is due to Coeliac? Just diagnosed!! thanks

I have also had knee replacement and a revision one done and leg straightened as my leg became very deformed and i was bow legged, this was sorted out several years ago now. I was 39 at the time i had the first knee replacement and 52 when it needed replacing again. I have not heard about Coeliac having anything to do with Osteo arthritis, can you explain why you think this maybe please?

I have posted on here about my sister at just 50 being refused a knee replacement ...".too young, could make you worse"  She has OA becasue of fluid in her knee etc (inflammatory arthritis) leg totally rigid most of the time...can`t make it to loo from bed in mornings!....did you stuggle to get  knee replacement for many years if you don`t mind me asking?....we are desperate for answers, as she has now lost two jobs...and at 50 well.hospital throws drugs at her that don`t work....the stiffness is worse than the pain she says........Any thoughts...thank you.
