Has anyone ever fainted due to anxiety?

I recently fainted in the urgent care for what I thought was the flu..turned out to be a virus. They did a EKG and complete bloodwork and everything came back normal. I followed up with my PCP and they ran the same test which came back normal as well. i cant stop obsessing over why I fainted and if it will happen again. During panic attacks i feel light headed and dizzy and my visions blurs which adds more fuel to the fire. Has anyone experienced this?

I have never fainted but felt very close to it. But the light headedness, dizzy, blurry vision I can sympathise with. I also used to suffer heart palpitations and when I let it get on top of me I found I was gasping for breath and ended up hospital with all the tests you have had but all fine.

I would say that fainting is very very possible as the light headedness etc is partly from our bodies making adrenaline

When you hyperventilate during a panic it increases the carbon dioxide in your blood which can make you feel the symptoms you mentioned. There are lots of YouTube videos for helping panic attacks and your breathing so have a look.
