HAS ANYONE EXPERIENCED LONG TERM NON STOP ANXIETY?

I have had non-stop anxiety for 2 years now. I mean anxiety from the time I wake up till I go to sleep every day. It does not stop. I am so tired. I have anxiety about everything. I am constantly thinking "what if...". I thought anxiety was supposed to come and go, but mine does not. How does anyone exsist with no relief?

It started with depression then led to panic attacks and now the constant anxiety. Friends and family will ask me why I am anxious. I try to explain that there does not have to be a reason. It is just me and my mind. So hard to live with isn't it? I am fortunate in that I do not have too many physical symptoms other than tiredness and widespread pain. Too much tension in my body.
I am sorry that you suffer from this too and for such a long period of time.
I pray we see improvement soon.
I am going back to group therapy this week. Wish me luck.

We had a Jack Russel X we lost Him five years ago and I am positive I see a white dog passing me in the garden or house. Sometimes I feel him licking me in bed when our Pax is not around

I can totally relate to you I have a had anxiety since I can remember which would be kindergarten!!
we can't let anxiety run our lives and our minds. We are better than that and we deserve to feel healthy and enjoy life. We need to be relentless in the pursuit of our health including healthy minds. I once heard the saying "don't believe everything you think "which is so very true. Our minds are SO POWERFUL and go to the negative if we let it. I have battled anxiety since childhood and I am now in my 50s
. You need to stay active so you're mind isn't focused on the negative. I have found meditative audios online YouTube that deal with stress and anxiety to be very helpful, also regular exercise, eating healthy and socializing. Doingsomething for someone else can make you feel great and it takes the focus off of yourself and your worries.
The WORST thing we can do is isolate ourselves which causes us to think more and more negatively. You can find great books at the bookstore on the power of the mind and stress, depression anxiety. It discusses how to turn it around.
ALL THE "WHAT IFS" ARE VERY HARMFUL TO OUR MENTAL HEALTH". What if's are NOT based in reality. It is our mind going to the negative.
get help such as a counselor because that chronic negative thinking Can actually make negative changes in the brain. .
KEEP THIS IN MIND.....FEAR STANDS FOR. False Evidence Appearing Real. Fear is based out of non-reality
Stay Active, exercises dramatically reduces my anxiety!
I decided I needed to fight this or the rest of my life will be ruined.
GET ACTIVE! Switch your mind to life, look at the beauty of a sunset, the birds in the sky, etc. get a hobby you enjoy and Laugh!
You have two choices......live for the next 60 or 70 years in fear and worry being miserable like I was, . OR LIVE your life with a positive attitude, enjoying family, friends, activities, and taking control of your happiness….
And I started exercising, the anxiety just lifted because the endorphins in the brain are released which makes you feel really good!!!
Stay active! Stay active! Stay active!
