Has anyone experienced Lower back pain symptoms before being diagnosed with bowel cancer

Going for CT scan on 16th August

Have had constipation for years and on continuous laxatives which don’t work at wits end demanded to see consultant who arranged ct scan - I’ve had 6 gynae ops in last 12 years and he thinks it’s caused harm to bowel. Unfortunately bowel cancer is in the family on paternal side

Let’s wait and see it’ll be nice to actually know what’s happening

Lower Back pain has been intense last three months been to Physio and on pain meds nothing helps

Look forward to hearing from someone

You might not be at any higher genetic risk, not if it had been brought about singularly by lifestyle.  For both constipation and to very considerably reduce Bowel Cancer risk, keep slim, switch to a near Vegan Diet, no meat, fish, but only the small ones, eggs are fine, but supplement milf for fortified Soya Milk.  Antioxidants may play a significant part in cancer protection generally, such as proanthrocyanadins from grape seed, ARC are currently investigating this.  Drink plenty, and lots of vegetable and fruit juices.  Lower back pain runs with constipation.  I`m guessing that you are drinking too little whilst eating too much protein.  Over protein consumption can damage your bones too.
