Has anyone experienced non-typical symptoms after exposure?

I am pretty sure I am about to go crazy!
I had sex with a man that I later found out had herpes. 2 days later my labia started burning and I thought, oh no! The burning then moved to my entire groin area and also my bottom. It was worse when seated and lessened when laying down.
After 5 days I went to my GYN. I was convinced she would see something that I had not. She said I looked perfect down there. Checked me for UTI, yeast and other STDs. All neg. Took a blood test for HSV. Both neg. (I know it can takes weeks to show) She also put me on a 10 course of Valtrax just in case.
The burning pain Has continued. It moves around but it is always there. I must check myself with a little mirror 10 Times a day.
I went back a week later and she still did not see anything.
It has now been 18 days with no relief. I feel like I am coming undone. Everything I have read doesn't include anything like what I am experiencing.
Has anyone else experienced this???

I'm experiencing the same constant burning. And yes, worse with sitting and relief laying down and directly after a bath. This has been ongoing for 8 months. And 2 negative igg tests. One at 4 mos. the other at 8 mos. 😕

At least you have neg results! That's great. This is making me so depressed.

Except I don't believe them and I'm depressed too.

How soon after sex did your symptoms start?
Have you found anything to make it better? I don't know what do do anymore. I thought it would go away on its own but it won't. I wake up in a panic every night.
Right now it feels like I have sand paper in my vagina.
My Dr. Thinks it may be my Pudendal nerves but I have never had any issues before and this started 2 days after sex.

Mine started w/in 2-3 days of sex. And I've not really found any relief. With your mention of pudendal nerves I did a little googling and could be related to hsv.
