Has anyone gotten HSV 2 from a Towel?

I slept with a girl who had genital herpes, shes on anti virals and we used a condom, but after we slept together she wiped off with a towel and kept it between her legs for a while. the next morning when I jerked I wiped the cum off my foreskin with that same towel (I know really stupid) 8 days later a rash started. I'm now 19 days since the start of the rash. Here is a day 1 and day 19 photos.

It might help to note I got screened for other STI's and UTI's and everything else came back negative.

Bump, I'm wondering if this looks like a herpes outbreak.

hello! i was recently diagnosed with herpes and have done a lot of research about it. to my knowledge, herpes cannot be transferred on surfaces - it has to be direct sexual contact. still, i would recommend going to get tested so you know for sure one way or another. they have online test kits you can purchase for around $100 and can also go to Planned Parenthood and they will do it for cheap.

Thank you for the reply. I've also done extensive research and am getting mixed messages about the towel thing being true or not. I have the papers to receive a blood test anytime I'd like but, I'm scared of getting a false negative as sexual contact was a month ago to this date. It's eating away at me so bad that I'm probably taking it in August 1st. If it is negative I'll be getting another done later September to be sure. For anyone who cares I will be updating this later when i get results and possibly answering the age old question. "Can you get herpes from a towel?"
As for a swab test. there was never anything to swab. in the first photo that small cut was how i found the rash because I was rubbing soap on it in the shower. it healed within 2 days. But the rest of the rash has been there for 3 weeks.

For some reason only a section of my reply showed in the bubble... Thank you for the reply Emily. I've done research on getting herpes from inanimate objects and have found mixed reviews. I do have the papers to get a blood test anytime I'd like but I'm worried about getting a false negative as this all happened a month ago to the date. It's eating away at me bad enough that I'll be taking the blood test August first. If it is negative ill be going for another one late September just to be safe. For anyone who cares I will be updating this post later and answering the age old question. "can you get herpes from a towel?"
Also I couldn't receive a swab test as there was nothing to swab. that cut in the first photo is from right after i found the rash when i was rubbing soap down there in the shower. the cut healed in 1-2 days. but the rest of the rash has stayed there for 3 weeks without getting any better. I should also point out there's no liquid under the darker parts. nothing to pop or test.
