Has anyone had a dull upper back ache that moves from side to side with sternum soreness

Hi all, Can anyone help with this please. I have for 4 weeks now had upper back ache that moves around and my sternum feels sore to touch. I have had a cough and gastric acid reflux. I think this brought on an anxiety attack where my heart raced to 135bpm and I had hot and cold sweats. My doctor sent me to the hospital where I had a chest xray, ecg and bloods taken and they all came back fine. They told me my symptoms were more likely to be viral and to take ibruprofin. Symptoms are still the same and quite scary when you wake up in the middle of the night with burning sensation in sternum. I had tietzes syndrome many years ago and I am wondering if this has flared up again. I have also, for the past year been taking my neighbours dog for walks and he pulls on his lead a lot and I wondered whether this could have triggered it off. Anyone had amy experience of this please, thanking you in anticipation

Hi Linda, thanks for your reply. I will certainly try the olbas oil and the ice packs (if I'm brave enough). Hope you are ok after your fall. Cheers Sam.
