Has anyone had a knee replacement using 3d printed parts?

Posted , 2 users are following.

I have read so many horror stories about traditional knee replacements and I have to have both my knees replaced. I know recovery is very painful and long compared to hip replacements but I wondered if anyone has any experience of 3d printed knee parts? I understand that recovery is not so painful and whilst I know the NHS does not offer this I am interested in going down that route? Suggestions for surgeons who use 3d parts would be very welcome. Thank you.
