Has Anyone Had an Ablation at Bordeaux?

If I can get everything sorted I'll be going to Bordeaux for a Catheter Ablation with Professor Jais in June. If anyone on the Forum have been there could they tell me:-

1) How many days before the procedure did you you have the Transoesophageal  Echocardiogram done and how sore was your throat afterward?

How did you get from the airport there to your accommodation and where did you stay the first night?

Did you stay in Bordeaux for the Patient Evaluation the following Monday?

Are there shops and cafes near the Hospital?
