Has anyone had natural treatment from a Naturopath for underactive thyroid?

just wondering if anyone has had natural treatment for underactive thyroid?

i went to a naturopath yesterday and she treating lots of us naturally and some are totally off the levythroxine. i'm starting the detox next week and will post my progress on here. i'm 28 and do not want to be bound to medication for the rest of my life .... even tho it does make me feel better, i am confident with my metabolism working again naturally i should be even better!

      you'll be fine cass...you've got an individual therapist you can rely on her....also the expertise of dr brownstein and suzy cohen who advocate iodine...there's only a couple of experimenters on themselves who take issue...these were sara gottfried and isabella wentz...you can look them up but S.G has failed to treat her own thyroid and I. W had hashimotos and was hyper...so a different start point. you are in safe hands so go with the treatment and don't worry.

      gosh i'm concerned i've upset you now. iodine is really important...in south of france theres a centre where they re loading it on to treat breast cancer...its pretty difficult to get too much iodine..we need it! enjoy your therapy. i did google but haven't found one yet. thanks cass...you're doing great.

      hey no you are fine! i was just like okay i've just run into taking iodine and haven't even looked into it! i know that your body needs it and as you say you can't get too much of it!

      i wish i could help you find one, maybe ask round some of your friends or ask at your nearest health shop. good luck!

      hello, can you advise what the best type of iodine is to take please, ive seen it in bottles with a little dropper or tablets, im not keen on tablets as i have sjorgens syndrome & struggle to swallow some tablets. im in Wales the UL

      thanks heaps! i'm also taking some mineral supplemts and a cleanse power - that's part of the detox cause she said my body needs a clean out.

      will defintaly keep ya posted, good luck to you as well smile

      thanks...i'm taking lots of anti oxidants and yes need to de tox too...its really vital....actually iodine helps with that by pushing out the fluoride bromine and chlorides that we re exposed to x
