Has Anyone Heard of this treatment for Crohns?

I spend hours at a time looking online trying to find information that can help me treat my crohn'sas natural as possible. There is so much conflicting information online that it makes my head hurt.

But there is a natural treatment that has gone to clinical trial that is said to actually work as well as some of the biologicals. This article talks about boswellia- http://drcrohns.com/2017/11/benefits-boswellia-crohns-disease-dump-side-effects/

Does anyone have any experience with this herb?

Looks interesting. Amrita nutrition stock several products containing it - some for arthritis and some for digestive health. Would be interesting to see some trials or real life improvements. Let us know if you go that route. Matt.

I have not heard of it before but I think the importance of "food as thy medicine" is incredibly powerful. I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease over 10 years ago and struggled with steroids and other medications for over a year until I turned to a holistic approach (diet and natural supplements). Once I made that transition I have been able to stay in remission (10+ years). My mom heard about this "miracle tree" called Moringa, which she started growing in our garden. I began consuming the leaves in tea and powder form as they are full of nutrition and anti-inflammatories. It ignited me to start a company around Moringa and I would be happy to send you some samples to try if you are interested. Regardless, I believe herbs/plants to be incredibly powerful and think diet and lifestyle plays a critical role in achieving remission. If you do try boswellia I would love to hear how it works for you! I wish you the best and hope you find a natural way to heal your body.
