Has anyone tried acupuncture or herbal medicine

hello I have read someones article that had HS. He stated he went to an chinese herbal doctor and was treated with herbal bags that he had to brew and drink. i live in Ga and we have a few accupuncture places but they are expensive. has anyone tried this? if so, did you see any relief? I am reading night and day to find some sort of resolution to this disease. I really want to see this disease fo down
