Has anyone tried Amberen? You can buy it at Walmart.

I just saw this advertisement while playing a game on my phone. Its supposed to help with hot flashes, mood swings, low energy etc. I want to try it but I have fibroids and wonder if this would affect them. The commercial says "feel like yourself again"🙄

Hi Juanita!  I’ve read reviews on it...I take them with a grain of salt because I think most of those “reviews “ are made up.  I’ve tried Estrovel before for a couple months...nothing changed.  If you do try it...make sure nothing in it interferes with AD meds. Anything’s Worth a shot!

You’re welcome!  If you do try it and bust out into spontaneous cartwheels...please let me know!   😀

And if she DOES bust out in those cartwheels - maybe she'll be the new gal on commercials for Amberen and we will all say  "I remember her when....", LOL!  She'll forget all about us here, LOL!

Juanita - this is actually one of the products I've considered. I've read all of the 1 star reviews on Amazon; I do this with all of the products because I want to know worst case scenario smile It sounds like many things suggest trying for 3 months and keep track of your symptoms. I think you mentioned your doctor wants to slowly wean you off of your current AD? It seems this is a product worth some research and consideration. Hugs dear Sister!

Thank you Finny! I'm thinking about it. But generally natural products haven't helped much.

I heard it advertised on the radio and was wondering myself . I’m not sure the natural products can help with something so powerful and overwhelming .

But let us know if you do and how it works .

No they are just not strong enough .... maybe in the early stages they can help but when you crash you basically need a fork lift truck to get you out of this mess .

That is correct they are stronger than anything, except that is our will to overcome it and that's where the mind comes into play.

      Xoxo

Has MSG, which always triggers hot flashes for me and also has soy in it so for people that have had some forms of cancer or are estrogen heavy it would not be a good idea.
