Has anyone tried Dexilant?

Hi all, I've been taking Prevacid (with 150mg Zantac at night) for about 6 months with no success for what manifests most often as a feeling of furball in the throat, but can also be pain in the middle of my back and at times more traditional "heartburn."  I've tried a whole bunch of other remedies, changed diet, and taking Gaviscon Advance for sleeping (and using a wedge) does help, but during the day I still have problems.  Unfortunately I haven't had an endoscopy in awhile.  I had one about 2 years ago when I was having much less frequent symptoms and it was fine, so my GI doc pooh-poohed me when I saw him last.  My regular doc now wants me to try Dexilant which I guess is like a stronger version of Prevacid (it time-releases twice over a 24-hr period)?  Has anyone tried this?  Hate the idea of being on a stronger PPI but I'll try anything if it might help.

    I have tried Dexilant for the symptoms of LPR and it did nothing. Also ranitidine (Zantac)150mg and Gaviscon et al . None proved effective. Still looking for something that will provide relief.

    Mabe you should of try it what's works you one mite not work for  another give it a go
