Thanks for getting back to me. My doctor said there are a lot of woman who think its great. I would rather not use any meds but I must admit I am struggling and have been for years. I feel I need to try something. Like everyone else these days my life is very busy, I don't have patience or time to be ill so I worry that taking these meds will knock me ill and I will be off my work. Over the years I have had time off work because of my health so I don't want to risk being off again.

hi aabb, the gabapentin does make you feel a little 'strange' for a while until your body gets used to it but like i said, although it doesn't take the pain away altogether,it does take the edge off, which is better then nothing.

i've had this for 9 years now and have a busy life too, like you,any thing that helps to live a 'normal' life is worth giving it a try?but,as i said before, different medications work differently for each of us.

i hope what ever you decide helps you.

    take care x
